oh gosh~~~~~ I think I have been in slacking mode ever since the fyp submission. Buck up buck up!!!!!!!!!

Anyways, there was a "more fruitful than normal" discussion yesterday on the quotes of Oscar Wilde. I must say that there are some that I don't really understand (mainly due to my limited vocab) but there were some that are very true and funny.

e.g
"I can resist anything but temptation."
"Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much."

The ability of words to mean so much with so few words is amazing.

Not forgetting the 成语 that we always have to remember when we were young.

Chinese rules! HAHAHA.......I think I siao already...

Food for thought: Why do you read novels? For the plot or style? I am in for the former category because I like reporter style (aka Dan Brown). I'm sure that if I continue to persevere in reading, I might start to appreciate the latter which adds more pleasure in reading.

I shall end this post with a quote that reflects singapore's education system

"We teach people how to remember, we never teach them how to grow" - Oscar Wilde

whaos.... yi hong's blog inspired me to write~~~~ kekeke......

now have to prepare for the exams and have to start planning for the uk trip. i'm actually quite excited but I was hoping that a guy will go with us since I do think it's safer with a guy around la.... Hopefully, an angel will come down from heaven to help us out~~~~

Currently, i managed to find a roundabout trip on quantas at 1630 per person and that included tax~~~~ HAHAHA..... but I'm abit worried about the lodging and the work we can find there. I might start to find agencies where we can work in hotels or so.... I think it will be better that way cause some agencies did say that they would provide accomodations. so if we are able to settle that, it will be killing two birds with one stone. hiak hiak hiak.... Another thing that worries me is the amount of time we can spend there (due to the tuition grant).

Our current plan is to work for 2 months then travel europe for one month. But I think I will keep the planning of the travel to a later time when we have sort of settled the working part of the trip.

During the wait to go europe, I will be finding temp jobs in order to supplement my europe trip. HOpefully, I can find one straight after my exams. whahahhaa......

my thoughts are in random mode so don't mind me. hahaha.......

next on, marriage!!!! I haven't even plan anything on that! I think I am damn relaxed la...... However, I did set the age I want to get married..... which is around 26- 27 cause I want to do some travelling before I settle down. We do have thoughts to settle at punggol and yishun but the placement at yishun seemed abit erm....... ermm....... ermmmm....... haha... I think I want to do on site survey to know whether it's convenient.

Yi hong, jia you jia you.... having such a long relationship means something. I'm sure something good will turn out for both of you.
